Starting treatment: Robert
It is recommended that treatment with HIV medicines (called antiretroviral therapy, or ART for short) should be offered to anyone diagnosed as HIV positive. People living with HIV that take ART and become undetectable, live longer and healthier lives than those who don’t. Taking ART also reduces the risk of HIV transmission.
Hear how Robert started ART over 10 years ago. He will explain how an honest and frank conversation with his doctor helped him think more proactively about his treatment, his health and HIV journey.
