About LiV Life

This site is developed with people living with HIV (PLHIV) for PLHIV. It aims to provide trusted information based on current research and insight from the HIV communities, including individuals who wish to share their stories. Content across Liv Life is organised by key events that occur when living with HIV, to provide advice and support for everybody in their life journey. Our mission is to provide a platform for people living with HIV to empower one another by sharing relevant, up to date information.

About ViiV Healthcare

ViiV Healthcare works with HIV communities to understand and improve individual treatment experiences and lifestyles, now and in the future. We are ViiV Healthcare: 100% dedicated to HIV medicines and research and completely focused on people affected by HIV/AIDS.

The development of LiV Life was inspired by the results of the Positive Perspectives Survey. This international survey was conducted by ViiV Healthcare to understand the perspectives and attitudes of 1,111 people living with HIV (PLHIV) about diagnosis, disclosure, the impact of stigma, treatment, communications with doctors and the views of their partners and significant others.

Results from the survey have been presented at international conferences, including the 2017 International AIDS Society Conference on HIV Science in Paris,1 2017 IDIWeek – Advancing Science, Improving Care Conference in San Diego2 and the 16th European AIDS Conference in Milan.3

Additional survey findings will be shared in 2018 to focus on the perspective of partners and significant others. The aim is to use the knowledge obtained through the Positive Perspectives Survey to identify and develop solutions that will help PLHIV address the challenges they are facing.

You can download the Positive Perspectives survey report below.
This report is focused on the attitudes and perspectives of PLHIV around diagnosis, disclosure, treatment and communicating with your doctor. New partner/significant other perspectives coming this year!
